PELSC Officers
Officer elections were held in April 2007. The following lists the officers for PELSC:
Chair: Alan Mantooth, University of Arkansas, USA
Vice-Chair: Tsuyoshi Funaki, Kyoto University, Japan
Treasurer: Liuchen Chang, University of New Brunswick, Canada
Secretary: vacant - PELSC is currently looking to replace Dorin Neacsu who resigned due to personal reasons. Please contact Alan Mantooth if you are interested in serving in this capacity.

Ongoing Standards Efforts
PELSC has one standard currently being reaffirmed (1515). Please contact Dr. Ty McNutt to join the ballot group.

New Standards Efforts
PELSC is initiating a new working group on Testing and Characterization of Electrochemical Capacitors. A project authorization request (PAR) is being created and this working group will begin its work soon. Contact the working group chair, Dr. John Miller, if you wish to get involved.
